Communicating and the bigger picture
Our ability to communicate our thoughts and feelings do more than help other people understand us. It helps us to understand ourselves and see the bigger picture, too. We can do this from the words we speak and the art we make. We take from experiences and perspectives to aid in our endeavor to learn more truth.
The big picture is what many of us lack.
One of my favorite shows in the world is Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. It’s one of a kind. The show illustrates hilariously many of the unspoken and sometimes painful parts of the human experience where people don’t understand each other. The thing that makes it special for me is that many times throughout the show, I’m able to say “wait, that isn’t just me?” Larry and I must have a similar personality.
